Diving and snorkelling they are enjoying a fascinating underwater world. Additionally the bodily needs are fulfilled on Gili Air through all-time fresh fish and delicious crustaceans. |

| But this small island has been fighting for some years with many problems, which are to a large extend originating through growing tourists’ figures. Poor infrastructure, missing informing about health precautions, hygienic measures, preservation of the nature and environmental protection are a great danger for the future of this island. | ||
| Therefore, in co-operation with the inhabitants of Gili Air and agreements with Indonesian official authorities, the Lumbung Kampung Damai Indah Gili Air, abbreviated L.K.G.A. has been founded to cope with current and future problems of Gili Air. | ||
